Black-and-white photograph of a Colonial-style house located at 227 Wood St., taken during the summer or early fall. A teenaged boy in long boots and a cap poses for the picture before the front door. The awning over the front door is partly covered with vines. A barn located in the back of the house on the right side is also visible in the photo. The Charles Seaver house was originally built sometime around the 1840s. At the time this photo was taken, it was owned by Mrs. G.E. Wood. As of 2017, this house is still standing. A garage next to the house burned to the ground in 2016, but this was not the same structure as the barn in the photograph, which had already been removed at an earlier date.
