One of the Lifeboat Drills During Atlantic Crossing of Manhattan Aboard the S.S. Manhattan which arrived here today after an uneventful crossing from Europe, Tourist Class Chief Steward Raymond Feuerstake shows passengers how to adjust their life preservers, at one of the emergency lifeboat drills which were staged during the Atlantic crossing. No submarines were sighted during the voyage and the Manhattan escaped the sever Atlantic storm that struck the liner President Harding of the same line last Tuesday.
