Bunker Hill Monument. Frontispiece of Richard Frothingham's "The Battle of Bunker Hill." The end of the first high school building shows at the left. The house with the cupola is that of Phineas J. Stone on Concord Street at its junction with Monument Square. At the right are the houses still standing (left to right) of Lynde A. Huntington, G. Washington Warren, and Peter Hubbell. Mr. Huntington was a trustee of the Old Ladies' Home, of the Daniel White Fund, among many other important responsibilities.
