Mayor Mansfield accepts invitation to open the first Boston Book Fair from Richard F. Fuller, president of the board of trade of Boston Book Merchants, which is sponsoring the fair in conjunction with the Herald-Traveler and the publishers. Talks by noted authors and scores of exhibits will feature the fair which will be held the week of Nov. 8 in the Herald-Traveler building auditorium. Mayor Mansfield has designated that week as "Boston Book Week."
