Leaves a1 recto, gg1 recto, A1 recto, and A8 verso illuminated, with floriate borders and decorated initials. Twenty leaves of manuscript hymns bound-in between O8 and ii1. Leaf dimensions: 112 x 79 mm.
BINDING: Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy Q.405.180 bound in contemporary red goatskin. Covers stamped and tooled in gilt with white painted lacework designs. Gold-stamped Mary and child flanked by initials "M.M." at center of both covers. Spine ruled and tooled in gilt. All edges gilt and gauffered, with scraped-away painted floral decorations. Housed in a tan cloth box.
