70 Years of Basketball---The Springfield College basketball teeam of today pose on the same gray granite steps on a fading brick building just off Winchester Square, in Springfield, Mass., as the first team in history posed for a group picture early in 1892 after completing a season which started with the invention of basketball only a few months before, late in 1891.
