Joseph Carr was a noted furniture designer, artist, cartoonist and sculptor from Gardner, Massachusetts. He worked for the Heywood-Wakefield Company as a furniture designer from 1936 till the company closed its doors in 1979. He also did freelance furniture designs for a variety of furniture companies including S. Bent & Brothers, Inc.
