Patients from the Veterans Administration Hospital wait to be loaded on busses to be taken to other hospitals in the area as rescue efforts continue at the Hospital which had sections demolished by an earthquake that struck the Southern California area early 2/9. Early reports had eight dead at the hospital and at least seven other deaths throughout the Southern California area.
