Adams Quits - As a photographer moves in close in the foreground, John G. Adams explains to reporters at his Pentagon office late yesterday his reasons for quitting his Army Counselor post. Adams, one of the Principals in last year's fight between Sen. Joseph McCarthy (R-Wis) and Army civilian chiefs, explained in a letter to Army Secretary Robert Stevens that: "Projects which have occupied my attention are now well advanced and I therefore would like to leave my post." The resignation takes effect March 31.
