Photostat of the map of East Sudbury by Mattias Mosman, Surveyor. Included is the transcript of information provided on the map. It identifies the bridges, who is responsible for their maintenance, the distance to Boston and Cambridge, the ponds by size, streams, mills, the boundaries of the town by degrees and the first roads or paths within the town. The boundaries are noted as they were previously done by others - name and date of other surveys are provided. Gives direction and length of the Sudbury River as it travels the boundary of East Sudbury (now Wayland) Massachusetts. The original is housed at the Massachusetts State Archives (#1181 on page 28.)
