William Lloyd Garrison has been in New Haven, Conn. Nathaniel Jocelyn completed a portrait of the "madman Garrison." Arnold Buffum is the bearer of this letter. In the morning, Garrison sails on the packet ship Hibernia.
The bottom part of page one, including the signature, has been cut off.
