Holograph, signed.
William Lloyd Garrison is feeling better, but his head is still confused. His poor health may prevent him from attending the annual meeting in New York. He is also expected to speak in Philadelphia. Isaac Knapp sent George William Benson 50 copies of James Boyle's letter (this letter was printed in the Liberator, March 23). Garrison heard that Mr. Cyril Pearl read it. The letter has been quietly received, but Garrison believes there will be a stir about it in due time. The Grimkés are doing a mighty work for the abolitionist cause.
