William Lloyd Garrison discusses the celebration on the first of August in Salem. He is ready to attend, especially if he can have the assistance of Parker Pillsbury and Charles Lenox Remond. He will select and print hymns for "our grand celebration." Garrison is somewhat relieved from a recent inflammation of the head.
