Holograph, signed.
William Lloyd Garrison's British friend, the Rev. Francis Bishop, stayed only one day in Boston. He gives Rev. Bishop's projected itinerary. Rev. Bishop intends to travel to the slave states and "expressed a strong desire to have an interview with the 'owner' of William and Ellen Crafts." After visiting the far West, he will try to stay in Boston and the vicinity for two or three weeks. George Thompson has been elected to Parliament from Aberdeen. Garrison regrets the poor health of Anne Warren Weston's brother. Catherine Sargent is probably near death; Henrietta Sargent is taking care of her day and night.
