Holograph, signed with initials.
William Lloyd Garrison arrived in New York in a northeasterly rainstorm and visited Mrs. Sarah S. Savin. He next went to Philadelphia and stayed with Alfred H. Love. He spoke to a large audience in Concert Hall. Richard Purvis has become hostile to Garrison. Kind and sweet Lucretia Mott came to Garrison's lecture. Garrison writes: "I also had on the platform Rachel Moore, the noted female preacher, who dined with me at Alfred's." The weather was cold and clear.
