Letter from George Luther Stearns, Boston, to Samuel May, Dec. 26th, 1859
Description:
Stearns informs May that he asked James Miller McKim to procure the bodies of Copeland and Green after their execution. Stearns forwards McKim's response to May and asks that the letter be placed on file in the Anti-Slavery Office so that the abolitionists could not be "charged with neglect in this matter."
