Additional information accompanying item: Signed C.H. 1916 near lower left margin. Done after studies for a painting of the same name, in September, 1916. Second state; left cloud was slightly reduced and additional work in the reflections of the water to the left. There are now no large spaces in the water. About 4 or 5 proofs. Plate destroyed.
