The item, if true, apparently hasn't been considered of sufficient importance for general distribution to newspapers, but I saw a flash on the radio news tickers last Sunday to the effect that Max Schmeling is flying to this country this week. It said the former "Black Uhlan of the Rhine" will referee "a program" in Milwaukee (Milwaukee, again!) on May 18th, and it furthermore said Joe Louis had been interviewed concerning the impending visit of the only opponent Louis was ever quoted as saying he wanted really to hurt.
