Typed on back: Bands of biotite schist (dark) in more granitic schist (light) dipping 15degrees east. The faint branching structure consists of a greater proportion of feldspar and quartz to biotite. It suggests the fracturing of the original rock which facilitated the entry of the solutions which caused the granitization or syntexis.
