Resigns as Chicago Bears Coach--Clark Shaughnessy holds Associated Press Wirephotos of Sunday's professional football game between the New York Giants and Chicago bears during his visit to the AP's New York office today. Shaughnessy resigned after the game, ending a 29-year association with the Bears. The 70-year-old coach said he quit because he was "getting too much interference." But, he said he did not plan to leave football.
