Letter from Thomas Newbould, to James Miller M'Kim, April 15th [1861]
Description:
Thomas Newbould writes James Miller M'Kim relaying information he had received from "one of the Ledger reporters" to the effect that "boys" planned on attacking M'Kim's offices that evening on the "principles of opposing ultraism on both sides". Newbould suggests that M'Kim contact the police to secure additional protection of the premises.
