Letter from George A. Avery, Rochester, to Amos Augustus Phelps, Sept 18. 1835
Description:
George A. Avery writes to Amos A. Phelps that he is forwarding a few letters for Phelps that had come to his hand as well as a couple of notes from the editor the “Democrat” containing reviews of Phelps’s communication. While Avery doubts the editor will admit further communication from Phelps, he say Phelps should write an article for the “Democrat.” He says that “[o]ur political Anti-Slavery folks” have called for next Thursday. He gives names to add to the list for the State convention.
