T. Eastman writes to Amos A. Phelps and discusses their plan to establish a paper in Washington. He expresses his confidence in Mr. Bailey as a person with whom they can entrust the paper. He then mentions a colonization debate to be held in Chicago in a few months, and requests for material bearing on the subject.
