Nathaniel Crosby writes to Amos A. Phelps to discuss two different modes of actions they may take: to stay aloof from the Liberator while keeping the connection with the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society, or to form a new organization. He says “[i]n either case we must stop the war.”
