Blue tone cyanotype image of a woman sitting beside a table in a parlor. Subject is a Caucasian female with grey hair parted in the middle and pulled away from her face. Subject is sitting with her right elbow resting on the edge of a table and her right hand resting on her cheek. Her left hand is in her lap. Subject wears a dark dress with long sleeves with white edging at cuffs and neck, round pin at throat and a round object on a chain on the front of the dress. Table is covered with a cloth and has a lamp and piles of books/papers on it. Table is in front of a fireplace with a mantle filled with various objects. Picture hangs above fireplace and there is a picture on the wall behind the subject.
