F.P.A.'s Bride Sails on 1st Lucy Stone Passport. Franklin P. Adams (F.P.A.) and his bride, who was Miss Esther Sayles Root, photographed before they sailed on their honeymoon on the S.S. Mauretania. Mrs. Adams has the distinction of being the first married woman sailing with her husband to have a passport issued under her maiden name. The couple were married a few days ago in Stamford, Conn. Mrs. Adams is a member of the Lucy Stone League and a delegation from that body saw her off.
