Built in 1873 at 87 Milk Street to replace the building on State Street that had been seized by eminent domain following the Great Boston Fire of 1872. The company remained at this location until 1941, when it moved to its current location in Copley Square. Architect: Nathaniel Bradlee. Building demolished in 1946.
