The bridge is seen from the bank of the river. The right-hand half of the bridge, ending in a square battle-mented tower, and the steep bank seen through the arches, are in shadow. Published state. Below the two dark lines on the water are two separate flicks of dry-point. To the left of the shadow from the tower some angular lines towards the edge of the plate have been almost removed, and the new lines added, roughly parallel with the edge of the shadow. The lines at top an dbase of wall in upper lefthand corner are now carried to the edge of the plate. Edition of 30 proofs.
