The Lord Mayor of Dublin (Alderman Alfred Byrme) visit "Fairyland" outside the Mansion House for the mixing and draw for the Irish Hospitals Derby Sweepstake which began with a procession through the Eire Copital. Thousands of persons gathered to watch the march which preceded the mixing of the tickets. The theme of the draw decoration is "Fairyland."
