In this letter, Mary Anne Estlin tells how the Liberty Bells were distributed. She sent one copy to Miss Sanford, "whose Christian name is Lucy, not Sarah." She sent another to a Mrs. Rowland who obtained the contribution from South Wales. She asks where "Wincobank" is and who Mrs. Rawson is. She refers to the ill treatment and insult Frederick Douglass received before sailing on the Cambria.
