Edward Morris Davis presumably wrote this letter to Anne Warren Weston. Davis is sending "a lot of pretty Swiss baskets" for the anti-slavery fair. Davis complains of the lack of news. Davis reports: "We are in glorious spirits. Oliver Johnson is with us & I am going to try & have him retained so as to labor in our field ..." The executive committee have resolved to hold a convention at the close of each week for the next 3 to 5 months. "Two have come off & were quite encouraging."
