Holograph, signed with initials.
This letter is mainly concerned with the message contained in a note from Mrs. Abby Kelley Foster, who cannot come until the Tuesday before the anti-slavery fair opens. Mrs. Foster says that her friend Mrs. Wright intends to come with Mrs. Johnson to tend the tables. She quotes Mrs. Foster as saying that Mrs. Wright is "most admirably adapted to the business---she got up a most beautiful Fair at Utica almost unaided, ..." Mrs. Parker is willing to receive the ladies from Worcester; Sarah Russell May mentions the names of the possible visitors. Sarah R. May comments that "the work is so hard that I am anxious to have real workers come."
