Choice English....Tieless - As classes opened yesterday at English High School on Avenue Louis Pasteur, white students again yanked off their ties - the school's dress code requires them to wear - and burned them. Reasons for the absence of ties was mixed. Some students said it was a protest to privileges as blacks. Others said they agreed with blacks that the dress code should be abolished. One open-collared youth said: "You don't need a tie to learn."
