Two engineers in fur-lined flying suits are making a special test of aviation equipment. At the left is an anti-aircraft detector, which automatically trains a gun on an approaching airplane. Existence of such a laboratory illustrates, according to the Aviation News Committee of the Aeronautical Camber of Commerce, the brilliant research being carried on by the American aviation industry for national defense.
