Winner of Pan American Road Race -- Umberto Maglioli of Italy flashed across the finish line in Juarez, Mexico, today in his Ferrari heavy sports car to win the fifth running of the Pan American road race, 1908 miles from the southern border of Mexico to the northern border. Maglioli ran the last lap of 222.5 miles in one hour, 37 minutes and 53 seconds.
