Martin Pierre Marsick (1848-1924) was a Belgian violinist, composer, and teacher. From 1892 to 1900, he was a professor at the Paris Conservatory, where his pupils included George Enescu. His career did not recover after he left his job, pupils, and wife in 1900 to live abroad with a married woman. He was owner of the Ex Marsick Stradivarius, a violin made by Antonio Stradivari in 1705.
