Marcella Sembrich (1858-1935) was a Polish coloratura soprano and teacher. She performed in Europe before performing with the Metropolitan Opera for 11 years. After she left the Metropolitan Opera, she taught at the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia and the Julliard School of Music in New York.
