Holograph, signed with initials.
This letter is mainly a copy of the minutes taken by Mr. John F. Emerson of a meeting of the Lyceum, in regards to the admission of colored people. Finally a vote was passed admitting colored people to the North Gallery gratuitously. Deborah Weston did not have time to copy the protest [against the resolution], but discusses certain possible signatures. It is unknown who Deborah mailed this letter to.
