The Bishop of Meaux with hand outstretched towards the eyes of a young man who is blind kneeling before him accompanied by a woman. Behind the Bishop a young man in clerical robes holds a tall staff with a cross at the top. They are outside under an arch that reads "Monasterium Sanctae Crucis."
