Additional text on item: Stalwart policemen rolled up their sleeves and went to work in the scrubbing boards in a contest held at Russel Field, Cambridge, Mass., on Sept. 10 to decide the best pair of scrubbers in the Cambridge Police Department. Officer Toby Lyons shown at work on the board at the extreme right and Sergeant Perry F. Ready shown passing behind him, received the prize. The contest was held as part of the field day to get funds for the Policemen's Welfare Organization.
