The Universal Gesture in Boston yesterday was the oh-my-aching-head motion. this was not because of an aspirin shortage, but because of a high wind that blew throughout the day. Each of the woman above has her own way of handling the situation )the lady on the right is a damn-the-torpedoes type); but the hatless girl in the center who, after all, has the least to lose, took it with a grin. Biting breezes were tempered by the bounty of a blue and suny sky and the promise of warmer days offset the sting in the wind. Greater Boston in general took the weather with a sense of relief that what has been called winter's last gasp bypassed this region almost completely.
