Sciant presentes et futuri quod ego Hugo Talemache concessi dedi et hac presenti carta mea confirmavi Ricardo filio Luce de Coppedoc per homagio et servitio suo et per sexdecim solidis quos michi dedit in Gersumia octo acras terre cum pertinentiis in villa de benetlehe, que iacent in quodam crufto qui vocatur Reiecroft inter terram meam et terram quondam Rogeri filii Petri quarum unum capud extendit super terram meam et aliud super terram praedicti Rogeri et viam cum charta ad eandem terram per domus benedetti de Coppedoc usque ad doddeslane et per medium doddeslane usque ad bruarium meum et sic per viam meam quadrigalem versus nemus de benetlehe usque ad domum Cristine lottis[?] et sic per domum Cristine ad praedictas viii acras habendi et tenendi illi & heredibus suis vel cui eas cum charta dare vel assingnare vel in lecto mortali legare volverit. Excepta domo religionis, de me & heredibus meis libere & quiete integre. Reddendo inde annuatis mihi & heredibus meis quadraginta denarios ad quattuor terminos anni scilicet ad festum sancti Iohannis baptiste decem denarium & ad festum sancti michaelis decem denarium & ad natale domini decem denarium & ad pasca de cem denarium per omnibus servitiis consuetudinibus & demandis salva curie mee sequela quando mei liberi homones de benetlehe illam sequi sequitenent praedictus ricardus sequetus & salvo servitio domini regis. Scilicet ad scutagium viginti solidorum dabit praedictus ricardus, sex denarios & ad plus plus & ad minus minus & ego praedictus hugo & heredes mei warantirabimus total praedicta terram cum pertinetiis & cum praedicta [cacia] praedicto ricardo & heredibus suis, vel suis assignatis quis omnis homines & omnias feminas per praedictum servitium.
