Description:
In 1993, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción, the annual fundraising gala known as Cultura Viva was held at the Wang Center for the Performing Arts (now called the Citi Performing Arts Center). Eddie Palmieri, a Grammy Award winning bandleader and pianist, and his orchestra provided music for the night of dancing and celebration. Palmieri is pictured here in a suit and red handkerchief, singing and playing the piano.
