A man carrying a bamboo pole with a coil of rope walks past a workshop colored bright yellow with red lettering on it, which may be a tailoring shop. On the roof is a dwelling where an infant can be seen sitting. Next to the shop is an area where used furniture is displayed. Beyond this are more dwellings, with laundry hanging out to dry. People walk down the street. This is the fifth of a series of photographs Halpern took in order to document the life of a single street corner over a period of a few minutes.
