A man carrying a long piece of pipe and a coil of rope looks directly at the camera. Behind him there is an area in which used furniture is displayed. To the left is a workshop colored bright yellow with red lettering on it, which may be a tailoring shop. On the roof is a dwelling where children can be seen playing. Groups of people walk down the street. This is the second of a series of photographs Halpern took in order to document the life of a single street corner over a period of a few minutes.
