McCormack writes Bruce Rappaport with reference to their meeting yesterday and their discussion about Rappaport possibly becoming involved with the World Cup Golf Tournament. He identifies Time Inc., American Express, Pan American, Sony and NCR as being the companies that sponsor the International Golf Association, which sponsors the World Cup. He explains that there is an agreement among these companies that none of them will make a film of the event, but they are anxious that a film be made. McCormack suggests that Rappaport might want to sponsor the production of a film and notes that his idea was triggered by the fact that the World Cup is in Thailand this year and Rappaport has an increasing interest in Thailand and his association with their government.
