"Avoir du foin dans ses bottes" literally translates: to have hay in one's boots. It also means: to be rich. "Botte" means boot, but also a pack of hay.). Charivari

A servant brings her employer some tea and a bale of hay. This is one of the very rare prints depicting a tea-drinker.
