I believe from long Edwards housing overflow. Right side of Wormells Boat Yard open space now houses Flying Bridge Restaurant, a big success when first built. Bottom left foreground is Tides Motel on the water and Falmouth Yacht Club. Just across harbor entrance in the back right corner of inlet is the house of Farnsworth K and Anne Baker. Town was realizing the boating potential for recreation and fishermen and planned the dredging project that opened up the swamp and the inner harbor was created.'
