An artist is trying to paint a self-portrait with the help of a mirror. Three phases are expertly united: reality, mirror-image and the artist's painting. At the same time, three different views of the same portrait are transmitted: from the verso, the side, and the front. It has been assumed that this print is of the painter Delacroix.
