Notes:
The Art classroom in the Normal School Building of the State Normal School at Bridgewater featured a variety of casts and models for the students' use. The Massachusetts Legislature appropriated $600 in 1873 to furnish an art room for the school - the funds allowed for the purchase of drawing desks, drawing boards and instruments. This equipment supplemented the previously purchased casts and models that had been imported from London.
